Zoya finds courage to start a new life!

rsz_thank-you-tmwf
Thank you all so much for coming together and helping support Zoya in enabling her to start a new life.

Zoya is 33 years old and moved to Texas with her children, after leaving her husband and suffering many years of emotional and physical abuse from him.

At Texas Muslim Women Foundation, she was provided with legal help and counseling. They helped in finding her children and her a place to stay and also gave financial assistance with which she was able to purchase furniture and other basic necessities. Today she has a renewed driving license and has enrolled her children in a day camp. She also has a phone service and is now looking for a job.

Zoya says, “I saw hope in future after a long time. I don’t know what would have become of me if I had not find all the resources given to me by TMWF. I would not have had all these opportunities I needed to gain a better foundation and a better new life for my children and me. I am encouraged and thank full that people care! I can see a bright future ahead! Thank you so very much!”

NOTE: Because we are protecting Zoya’s identity we can not show you her photograph.
